Here are some answers to Frequently Asked Questions. 

Memberships are the medium through which you access UMLTA’s learning platform.

We currently offer three membership tiers:

Bronze Open Membership, Gold Membership, and Silver Student Membership. All tiers grant access to free courses and open webinars. Gold and Silver memberships however are paid and additionally grant access to CPDs (Continuing Professional Development programs) and transfer of CPD points to the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC). 

Absolutely. As long as you are a Medical Laboratory Professional, you are welcome to join this platform by subscribing to the Free Bronze Open Lifetime Membership. 

If you have a busy schedule, online courses offer flexibility to learn at your own pace. They’re also great for those seeking specific skills or knowledge not easily found in traditional settings.

Busy professionals, parents, and geographically isolated individuals can all thrive in online courses. Anyone with a desire to learn and the self-discipline to manage their time can succeed.

It depends on the course! Some may have prerequisites like prior knowledge or specific skills. Always check the course description for details. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions.

Yes, you can! But it depends on your learning style and the course workload. Consider the time commitment, difficulty level, and your ability to manage multiple subjects. If you have strong time management skills, you might handle several courses well. Shorter courses with less work can also be good options for taking multiples concurrently.

  • Is your payment method up-to-date? Expired cards or incorrect billing information can cause failures. Update your payment details and try again.
  • Sufficient funds? Ensure your account has enough balance to cover the purchase.
