Gordon is a public health professional with 15 years of experience in various areas including medical labs, health system strengthening, and project management. He has extensive experience in program development, leadership, and technical areas like laboratory quality management and biosecurity.

In addition to his experience, Gordon has a relevant educational background with degrees in medical laboratory sciences and public health, along with several certifications in biosecurity and management. Notably, he is a certified Bio-risk Management professional and an International Federation of Biosafety Associations Heroes award winner for 2023.
